1 order, 7 families, 4 genera, 7 species
Sampling periods: Jan 1978 to June 1979
Werding (1973), without providing data on the sampling, reports on Maritrema magdalenae, a new species of trematodes, found in the intestines of the bird Limnodromus griseus. Galeano & Romero (1979a, b and 1981a, b) are all based on the same sampling of fish species in the CGSM from Jan 1978 to June 1979. Unfortunately only from Galeano & Romero (1979a) there was a copy available, reporting on six species of Acanthocolpidae, four of them identified to species level. Galeano & Romero (1981a) reported on additional five families of trematodes.
