Range Description: This species occurs from Costa Rica through Panamá and along Caribbean drainages of Colombia, Venezuela, and Trinidad as well as islands in the Gulf of Panamá and the Colombian islands of Providencia and San Andrés (Heyer and de Sá 2011, de Sá et al. 2014).
