Range Description: Boa imperator and its subspecies range from the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Mexico through Central America to Northwest Ecuador. The species was introduced into St. Croix, Cozumel Island (México) and Florida (United States). The subspecies Boa imperator imperator is distributed across the whole range and can be found on the mainland as well as on some islands (e.g Cayos Cochinos, Honduras). Boa imperator sabogae is endemic to the Pearl Islands, Panama.
